“Untitled.” Anonymous contribution to the Pandemic Journaling Project.

 

The original Picturing the Pandemic traveling exhibition in Hartford, Connecticut, was curated by Sarah S. Willen and Alexis L. Boylan in collaboration with Jasmin Agosto of the Hartford Public Library and the Hartford History Center.

In Providence, Picturing the Pandemic: Images from the Pandemic Journaling Project and the Rhode Island COVID-19 Archive was curated by Christina Bevilaqua and Sophia Ellis at the Providence Public Library in conversation with Katherine A. Mason, Sarah S. Willen, and Jason Tranchida. 

  • The exhibit at the Stephen Robert '62 Campus Center was curated by Katherine A. Mason and Sarah S. Willen in collaboration with Rodney Gerry, Thierry Gentis, Robert Preucel, and Christina Hodge at Brown’s Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology. 

  • The exhibit at the Swearer Center was curated by students in Katherine A. Mason’s 2023 Anthropology of Mental Health course.

  • The exhibit at the Population Studies and Training Center was curated by Katherine A. Mason and Sarah S. Willen.

In Heidelberg, Picturing the Pandemic is curated by Uwe Wenzel of the Mark Twain Center for Transatlantic Relations in collaboration with Sarah S. Willen and Alexis L. Boylan.

In Mexico City, Retratando la Pandemia / Picturing the Pandemic is curated by Heather M. Wurtz, in collaboration with Arturo F. Morales, Cristina María Herrera, Camelia Romero Millán, Velvet Romero Garcia, Mariana Becerra Méndez, Paola Arce Calderón, Sarah S. Willen, and Katherine A. Mason.

In Toronto, Picturing the Pandemic is curated by Sarah S. Willen, Katherine A. Mason, and Heather M. Wurtz.
